Capital Radiosurgery Centers (CRC) offers CyberKnife® radiosurgery, a pain-free, non-surgical, outpatient treatment that delivers highly focused radiation with exceptional precision—providing an effective option for patients with complex or inoperable tumors, or for those seeking a non-invasive alternative to surgery. CRC is one of the few facilities in the Baltimore region equipped with CyberKnife® M6 technology.

CyberKnife® delivers targeted radiation beams to a tumor while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissue. Real-time imaging tracks tumor movement during treatment, allowing radiation delivery to adjust automatically as needed. CyberKnife® may be recommended as an alternative to open surgery, when clinically appropriate.

CyberKnife® treatment is an outpatient procedure, typically completed in one to five sessions, depending on diagnosis and clinical indication. Each session usually lasts 30 minutes to one hour. Treatment is painless and without anesthesia. Most patients return to normal activities shortly after each session.
